Davisboro is well connected through the railroad system that has been there in Georgia since Historic times. Actually in Georgia the entire Central Savannah Area is connected through railroad system. Davisboro was in news in 1891 while the rail road was being laid for a major train mishap. A young engine driver was killed by the cars when he was supplying water for the engine. In teh accident several cars broke. |
