Boone District Court

Boone District Court is located in the Second judicial district of Iowa. US 30, US 169 and SR 17 cris-cross Boone county.

This city makes plenty of outdoor recreational space available for its residents. Besides parks there are shelters, tennis courts, a volleyball court, a scout cabin, a skate pond and horseshoe pits. For a nice excursion you might want to try a ride on the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroads and experience the crossing over the Des Moines River Valley. There are other spectacular bridges in Boone county. The Kate Shelley High Bridge and the Union Pacific High Bridge which parallels it are almost 190 feet above the river and are two of the longest, highest, doubletrack railroad bridges in the world. You can catch a glimpse of these bridges with a canoe, kayak or tube float down the Des Moines River. you can ride a bike or hike across the High Trestle Trail Bridge which spans the Des Moines River Valley, a spectacular 13 stories above the river. Its even a more beautiful sight when it's illuminated at night.
