Carroll District Court is in the Second judicial district of Iowa. Us 30, US 71 and SR 141 are good roads which cut across Carroll county but don't be in a hurry. |
| About the area |
The city can be proud of the recreational facilities provided for its resident. In addition to its 13 parks , there is a recreation center with an indoor swimming pool, basketball courts, racquetball courts, weight room, pool table, ping pong, theater and other activities and the Family Aquatic center with supper slides, diving boards and zero depth entry. All of this in a city with safe and clean neighborhoods. The Carroll Depot first built around 1867 and was rebuilt in 1896 when it burned down. It served the the Chicago & North Western railroads and its main, East and West buildings have been restored. It is a magnificent structure. |
