When you are in Cherokee city you can not fail to be awed by the beauty of the Little Sioux River Valley in which the city lies. The Cherokee Symphony's concerts are held at the Cherokee Community center.
Cherokee Community theater produces dramas, comedies and musicals throughout the year. Western Iowa Tech Community college maintains a campus in this city. If you want to catch some good music try to attend the Cherokee Jazz & Blues festival in January which features talent from far away and close to home. |
