New Hampton District Court is the district court of Chickasaw county. It is in the First judicial district of Iowa. Depending on where you are traveling to in Chickasaw county, you will find it convenient to use US 18, US 63, US 218, SR 27 or SR 346.

About the area

The city of New Hampton puts out the welcome mat for visitors to use its municipal parks and campground. Mikkelson park is equipped with a wooden wonderland for the kids (adults can try it too), shelters, baseball fields, the municipal swimming pool, a bandshell, basketball area, tennis courts, a volleyball area, a disc golf course and horseshoe pits. The pool is especially nice to visit; its large size providing room for crowds and a slide, kiddie pool, shallow-end, sloping area and diving boards. Runion park has a huge amount of playground equipment. The campground which is located next to Mikkelson park and is operated and maintained by the New Hampton area Boy Scouts is well equipped with electric, water and sewer facilities, a dumping station and restrooms with showers. If you want to have some fun hang around for the annual Heartland Days celebration in June. There's all kinds of tournaments, vendors, food and live music.
