Des Moines District Court

In the Fifth judicial district of Iowa, one of the district courts is the Des Moines District Court which is the district court of Polk county. The network of roads in Polk county consists of IS 35, IS 80, IS 235, US 6, US 65, US 69, SR 5, SR 17, SR 28, SR 160, SR 316 and SR 415.

Several major insurance companies, financial service companies and publishing houses have found Des Moines to their liking and settled here providing a great source of employment to the city's residents. The Historic East Village is where you can find shopping, dining and nightlife in the midst of a neighborhood of restored historic properties, beautiful streetscapes and urban living which lie at the foot of the State Capitol with its magnificent golden dome. Also in this area you will find the State Historical Building which houses the historical museum and historical library as well as a number of offices associated with the history of the county. In the neighborhood you there is the Des Moines Botanical center along the East bank of the Des Moines River and the Simon Estes Riverfront amphitheater where you can enjoy Nitefall on the River, a series of concerts offering music such as jazz, blues, folk and other styles.
