Bibbins park, the only public park in Bedford, is home to all of the recreational facilities of the town. These include shelter houses, sand volleyball court, tennis court, basketball court, croquet court, play grounds, modern bathrooms, fishing pond and the municipal swimming pool. Taylor County Conservation, located in Southwest Iowa along the Missouri border and the location of the Sand's Timber Recreation area is one of five county parks and wildlife areas, which each year attract lots of visitors for the pheasant, quail, deer and turkey hunting, fishing, hiking, bird watching and camping |
