Dubois Magistrate Court is commonly known as the magistrate court of Clark county. It meets every Tuesday of the month. The county district court meets in the same building on an as needed basis. Both courts are part of the Seventh judicial district of Idaho. IS 15, SR 22 and SR 28 are the only major roads in Clark county and they do not reach every town. SR 22 does meet with IS 15 15 just West of Dubois.

About the area

Clark county was formed just before the end of the second decade of the 20th century. The first settlement was Beaver Canyon a a stage coach station in the early 1860's. Dubois was originally known as Beaver Creek. The Heritage Hall museum is located in the St. James Episcopal church. The exhibits in this museum are representative of subjects such as art, science, history,culture the military and maritime subjects.
