Payette District Court is in the Third judicial district of Idaho and meets the first and third Friday of each month. The Magistrate court of Payette is located in the same building as this court. Running through Payette county are IS 84, US 30, US 95 and SR 72. |
| About the area |
The land area covered by Payette county makes it the smallest county in Idaho. However, it is home to home to the endangered Idaho ground squirrel. The Payette County museum is housed in the old Methodist Episcopal church, circa 1904. The museum is a repository for old items brought in by townspeople such as tools, school uniforms and costumes, carbide lamps and knickacks. The collections displayed include authentic garments and photographs of the clothing, a sewing machine and dress patterns, a back porch laundry and Western gear. The city maintains indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a wading pool. Kiwanis Park is the site of the city's bandshell where Summer performances take place. Centennial park and Gateway park both have soccer fields. |
