Located in the Seventh judicial district of Idaho, Driggs Magistrate Court is the magistrate court of Teton county. The district court of Teton county, which is located in the same building and the same judicial district, meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. SR 31 and SR 33 are the only major roads in Teton county and meet in Victor.
About the area
This town started out as Pierre's Hole. Driggs sits at an elevation of over 600 feet between the Tetons and the Big Hole mountains. The downtown business district maintains some of its old time charm with a working creamery, historic soda fountain and local artist galleries in addition to being lucky enough to have an authentic Austrian bakery. You can stop there for some of those cholesterol loaded pastries. The Teton Valley Historical museum has on display historic photos of the area's towns in the early days, artifacts of pioneer settlers, a mining display and the first flag that flew in the valley. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers room has a large number of artifacts that made their way to idaho by covered wagon. There are also journals of Pierre’s Rendezvous Battle and the the story of the Yellowstone Bandit who lived in the valley. Journal accounts, or / mining display of famous Sam Idaho. You will view many artifacts in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers room brought to the valley by covered wagon.
