The magistrate court of Washington county is the Weiser Magistrate Court which is in the Third judicial district of Idaho. SR 71 and US 95 run through and meet in Washington county.

About the area

Settlers began coming to the site of Weiser around 1863 when the city was just a stage stop. When the Oregon Short Line Railroad reached only as far as a mile and a half South of the present railroad station, passengers were transferred by stagecoach to the city. The Union Pacific railroad built the Weiser Depot around 1907 and 80 years later donated the depot to the city. In the Spring of The city of 1890 a large part of the city was destroyed by fire and as a result the business district was rebuilt closer to the railroad station. Weiser has several parks, in addition to its soccer and athletic field complex, including City, Memorial, Lions, Veterans Times Square, Weiser fishing pond and Heritage parks.
