About the area
Established back in the first quarter of the 19th century from a portion of Pike County, this territory has approximately 68300 inhabitants and 857 square miles of extension in the multicultural and charming IL-Mo micro area. Quincy City is the biggest municipality and also the county seat of this lovely community located in Illinois State, which shares frontiers with Brown, Pike, Marion (MI), Hancock, Schuyler, and Lewis (MI) Counties. This land, named after the President of the United States John Quincy Adams who was the sixth man at the White House, could be easily visited if you take the US Route 24 or 36.
