History, nature, and strong ancestral roots are part of the treasures hidden in this lovely land located in between two amazing creations of God; the Shawnee National Forest and the Ohio River; sharing border lines with Union, Alexander, Johnson, Massac, and Ballard (KY) Counties. This community is home of more than 7500 people, and was named after Kazimierz Pułaski (participant in the Revolutionary War). Since its foundation in the 1840s, this land has been a very peaceful, silent, and quiet territory of almost 205 square miles of extension home of a portion of the Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge; and former part of Alexander and Johnson Counties. |
