Being one of the thirty counties named after George Washington, this one is located more than five hours away from Chicago and approximately two hours away from Evansville in Indiana State. This community founded back in the 1810s and home of more than 15100 inhabitants, it is the proud father of several townships such as Bolo, Plum Hill, Nashville (county seat), Venedy, and Richview. Served by Ashley, Oakdale, Okawville, and Nashville Grade Schools; along with five more educational "houses" including St. Ann School and Trinity St. John Lutheran School, this county has an outstanding teaching program complementing the peaceful and kind environment of this territory of great economy and amazing people. |
