About the area |
Logansport is located at the junction of the Wabash and Eel Rivers. It was named for a half Shwnee soldier, James Renick-Logan and for being a port on the Wabash and Erie Canal. Dykeman Park Municipal Golf Course lies on land donted by late Judge D.D. Dykeman and was established in 1926 with 9 holes. Now there are 18. It was designated "Perserve America Community" by First Lady Laura Bush in 2009. |
