About the area

Clay county was once noted for clay and brick works. In Forest Park you will see Funtain of the Contos a friendship gift give in 1958 by the country of Brazil. It is a replica of one in Brazil which dates from 1745. If you are a popcorn lover, you won't want to miss the Popcorn Festive here in the City of Brazil at the beginning of October. The city was named for a farm on which the city was founded. The name was chosen by the farm owners just because the country of Brazil was in the news!
