Rising Sun is located along the Ohio River and has grown from 700 people in 1816 to 2300 now. Only 1.6 sq. mi. it is loaded with activity. At Dagaz Acres the Zipline will take you 70 feet in the air and you'll travel 30 miles an hour. It's a fun activity for families. There's a Wellness Spa here. At Backyard Orchard you can pick your own fruits. At Harps on Main you can watch harps being made. There's an Environmental Park, Red Wolf Sanctuary, Riverboat Casino, Museum and Art Center. The Courthouse, the oldest operating one in Indiana was built entirely on donations.
