State Highways 231 and 66 serve Rockport. With just over 2,00 populatons, this the County Seat and the largest city in the County. The first family to settle here in 1808 lived n a cave under a bluff over the Ohio River. Ten years later the people moved to the top of the bluff to avoid the floods. The City became a thriving port. Lincoln Pioneer Village in Rockport City Park depicts the area during the time of President Lincoln. |
