This small town contains the Nettle Creek Valley Museum and the Hagerstown Airport which is for public use. Nettlecreek I-70 Industrial Park is in the works. Early settlers descendents still maintain the few homestead farms. There's a community park and Hartley Hills Country Club has a fine golf course. Tedco Toys is the largest maker of toy gyroscopes.
