About the area |
The home in which aviatrix Amelia Earhart was born and brought up is now a museum. The building has recently been renovated to return it to its condition at the beginning of the 20th century. Some of the pieces and furniture are not the originals; but are items of the period when the Earhart family occupied the house. However many of the rooms and are in their original arrangement and furnishings. |
