Cedar Vale still has many of the turn of the century houses standing. The Cedar Vale Museum like many museums in towns exhibits memorabilia, artifacts, pictures and history of the town and area. However this museum has a very interesting collection of miniature replicas of old buildings, early homes, churches, stores, and other buildings, which made up the frontier town of Cedar Vale. There are two nice parks in Cedar Vale; Hewins Park with a Pavilion of unique architecture built around 1913 and Slocum Park with its Bandstand Gazebo.
