About the area

This city is the home of the University of Kansas and this is really a colege town with the university contributing much to the cultural and entertainment diversity of the city. On the grounds of the college are the Spencer Museum of Art exhibiting many types of art inits galleries; the Natural History Museum with four floors of natural history exhibits located in a limestone building which is 100 years old; the Lied Center which stages musical and theatrical performances as well as performances by visiting groups from around the world and the Allen Fieldhouse site of many exciting college basketball games.
