The Benson Historical Museum consists of 6 buildings located in the downtown area of Howard. These are Gragg Agricultural Building, a Country Schoolhouse, Teacher's Quarters, Mittie's Cottage, Heisler Honey House and a Kansas & Texas Oil Company Filling Station circa 1920. The Authentic old Country Schoolhouse displays in the classroom a Rural Vale School stage curtain with advertising and a 44 Star Fair View School district #4 American Flag. In the the Gragg Agricultural Building among the farm implements you will find a 1916 Tumley oil pull tractor, 1901 International Thresher and Howard's first fire truck circa 1929.Exhibits in other buildings include Bertha's doll collection and a folding, self heating bathtub
