You don't get more of a main road than SR 33 to get into and out of town but it does take you to IS 35 just to the South. |

About the area |
This city at one time was known as a world producer of English Blue Grass seed. Although settlers did come to the area in the 1850's; the city dates its start around 1870. It was about this time that the completion of the Santa Fe Railroad included passage through this town causing a spurt in its growth. This led to the complete plotting of the town two short years later. The towns first brick building was a bank which is still standing and is on the National Register of Historic Places. |
