Each year in February the Teddy Bear fair is held for the kids and to benefit the Williamsburg Community Library. This fair features things the kids will love such as the Teddy Bear Walk, the Teddy Bear Clinic, the Teddy Bear Adoption Agency, the Teddy Bear Coloring Contest and the Teddy Bear Tea. Each June the city celebrates Jayhawker Days. A Parade, re-enactments, children's activities, ranch rodeo, mutton busting, crafts, vendors and food, live country music, a street dance, hog roast, and camel rides are the some of the activities at this festival. Don't miss the picnic supper in the park, Library Ice Cream social or the Beautiful Baby Show contest. |
