Eureka District Court is the Thirteenth District Court of Greenwood County in the judicial district court system of Kansas.

About the area

The Eureka City lake is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. This body of water located a few miles north of the city covers over 250 acres and is surrounded by approximately 570 acres of city-owned and managed property. This area exists thanks to the Works Progress Administration which built it during the Great Depression. Although there are 130 lots in this area licensed annually for residential development; there are 17 public access areas placed around the lake comprising 1.7 miles of shoreline. Open to the public are the two boat ramps, four docks, two fish cleaning stations, three picnic shelters, toilets, a playground, a heated fishing dock, and a nature trail. A sight worth seeing is the is the waterfall below the spillway.
