CR 588 in the Southern part of town does give Sedgwick some measure of a major road.

About the area

Most town's around here have their museums; so why should Sedgwick be different. The Sedgwick Historical museum is different and is open only on the Saturday of every month for three hours. It's in a small building which looks very much like a store and its infancy during the 1870's was a dram shop saloon in nearby Park city. Moved to Sedgwick in early 1880, it served as a drug store and medical office. This small city is located where Sand Creek and the Little river meet and can claim may firsts in the county. It had the first school, residence, store, mill, jail, church, hotel and newspaper.
