This a city of just over 3200, so you can get a small city atmosphere here. One of the places representative of this is the Kingman theater which was built as an opera house and instantly became a landmark adding to the ambiance with its night lights. The theater now predominantly shows films but occasionally presents performances of interest. Another structure worth a look is the First National Bank Building which is on the Register of Historic Kansas Places. |
