About the area |
LaCygne lake and Linn County park lie just to the East of Linn Valley. The lake is well known for its schools of largemouth bass, bluefish, channel catfish, crappie and wiper. There are are two boat ramps into the lake which are exclusively for the use of fishermen. The park has miles of horse trails, a swimming pool, picnic shelters, a basketball court, and camping facilities. The marina has available live bait, tackle, gas, oil, and a variety of food and beverages. You can rent a rustic cabin here or take take advantage of the electric, water, and sewer hookups and shower facilities to set up a tent or park your RV.. Several are available for rent, or you can set up a tent or RV in one of the many campsites. |
