Although Council Grove City Lake is the smaller of Council Grove's twin lakes; this multi-use lake in Council Grove City Lake park covers over 400 acres and is surrounded by cabin and homes. The park has five public park areas, boat ramps and city-owned common areas. The lake is especially suited for water sports and fishing.
