About the area |
Several places which can give the visitor to town a glimpse into the past of the area are the Ness County Historical Museum, with Ness City's first schoolhouse restored as an old-time schoolroom on its grounds, and the Oil and Agriculture Museum. The Ness county fair is held here each year and features among other things a parade, swine, goat, sheep and beef shows, a carnival and live music and plenty of good food. The city is served by its own municipal airport which has a single runway just over 3100 feet in length. |
