About the area |
The major part of the town lies to the South of the Solomon river and Larrick the town's largest park lies along the river. You could also relax in the gazebo at the downtown park. The big celebration in Lenora is the Lenora Jubilee held each year on the third weekend of June. It all starts with a concert on Friday evening at the Grandstand featuring a Nashville entertainer. Dancing under the stars follows as it does each evening. The next day there is the parade of old cars, tractors, fire engine, bicycles, and horses. There are games, rides for toddlers and food vendors in Larrick Park. |
