Westmoreland District Court is the Second District Circuit Court of Pottawatomie County in the circuit court system of Kansas.
About the area
First laid out at the beginning of the 1870's, the town was established as the county seat of Pottawatomie County by vote of the people around 1879. The town was named by the first postmaster of the town for Westmoreland, Pennsylvania from whence he came.
