Belleville District Court is the Twelfth District Court of Republic County in the judicial district court system of Kansas.

About the area

Around 1910 Belleville High Banks, a historic dirt track, was built here to attract races for horses to motorcycles. This track has a stone grandstand and is where the Belleville Midget Nationals races are held. It is considered to be the world's fastest half mile dirt track. The history of the Belleville Highbanks is brought to life in the Highbanks Hall of Fame and National Midget Auto Racing museum. The exhibits recall racing personalities and display memorabilia and race cars that influenced the historic racing community.
