| About the area |
The city has its beautiful Sterling lake located in its park of the same name. This park also has a walking trail, swimming pool and fishing locations. Next to the park is the city's RV park where all sites
equipped with full hook-up services of water, electricity and sewer. There is also a bathouse with showers in the RV park. The city is home to Sterling College, a four-year, liberal arts institution. The college consists of three schools; the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the School of Professional Studies and Secondary Education Licensure. The college also offers online courses.
