The new close to 35,000 square foot Flint Hills Discovery Center has the latest in interactive exhibits for visitors to explore the science and cultural history of the last stand of tallgrass prairie in North America. The facility has both permanent and temporary exhibits, classrooms and meeting rooms. The center also serves as the information center for Manhattan and the surrounding Flint Hills region.
