At the Northeast corner of Argonia you will find the city's municipal airport with about 3200 feet of runway consisting of turf in good condition. You won't be bringing your private jet into this airport but cme ahead if you fly something smaller. You won't taking off for the moon from this lauch site near Argonia; but it's the place where KLOUDBusters hosts 3 major launches each year and monthly fun flies of high power rocketry. At this site, called the Rocket Pasture the club maintains state-of-the-art launch control electronics and heavy-duty high-power launch pads; with the capability to handle 64 launch pads simultaneously. The launches at the site draw enthusiasts of this technology from across the United States. |
