Owingsville is a fine example of small time towns because it makes the best of what it has got. Visit the Scott Creek Marina for a splendid evening. You can take a short cruise from this town along the creek. Some nice romantic evening serves the purpose. The Bayou kind of experience can be had here also while you overlook the blue grass lined banks. Now and then fish pop by the water and you will see birds swoop down to get them.
