Monroe County Circuit Court shares the same address

About the area

Tompskinville, a very hard name to say but was named after a Vice President. It was one of the main cities to have suffered during the civil war. A whole plot was planned right here and carried out. The story, reminiscent and the pictures are available to see at the local museum. Some 40 horses, mules and station wagons participated in the plot. You can see the wagons and probably take a picture in one of it like a confederate. .
