This mostly urban population in Louisiana State was named for former U.S. President James Madison. Founded in the 1830s, this community of more than 620 square miles of extension is connected by Interstate 20, US Highway 65, and US Highway 80. Served by Tallulah as its parish seat, this land divided in four cities (Delta, Richmond, Mound, and Tallulah) is framed by Warren County, East Carroll, Tensas, Franklin, and Richland Parishes. |
