About the area
There are over 32,000 people in Natick and it is part of the Boston Metro area. It was first settled by John Eliot in 1651. The Walnut Hill School is located in Natick and many of the schools graduates attend Juliard. This school is great training for Juliard as there is an emphasis on music. Natick has a thriving historical society and also a small museum. The museum covers the history of Natick and the area around the town. There is some interesting history of Natick in the 1700s when it was being established. And you wonder how many bodies are lying at the bottom of Lake Cochituate.
