About the area

Rocklands Community Recreation Center houses a lined gym floor for both basketball and volleyball, a Weight Room, and a game room. The game room has table games, arcade games, board games, and a living room with a play station, T.V., and a stereo for those sporting types who enjoy non-physical activities. A contraversy has been brewing over the passenger fees charged Cruise lines which visit Rockland, The increase in cruise ship fees and efforts in Rockland to limit the number of cruise ship visits, has caused friction between business owners and city officials.
