| About the area |
Mill pond along with Holdsworth park, through which it runs, is a wonderful recreational facility to the North of Springvale,which is a village in the town of Sanford. The community swimming area is located here and there is a free area for ball games along with horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court and a picnic shelter which can be reserved for group outings. Nasson college, a four year liberal arts college which closed in the 1980’s, is now the home for the Concert Lecture Series which had formerly been held when the college was open. |
