Alpena advertises itself as the port in the storm. May be it was the retreat that the lost sailors were looking for! However when you visit this port city in fall you will notice the rich hues of orange, green and yellow by the clear blue waters. No wonder it is a very sought after resting holiday spot. People come here but only the rich and wealthy can afford what they can. There is a lot for people who are not rich too. In the end it is nature so common! |
