About the area |
The city is located on the banks of Eagle River, a retreat that served for several decades to the tourists. The river banks are by itself quite an attraction. The city also projects into Lake Superior. Many people settled here for two reasons, one is the beautiful location and other is because of the copper mines. The Eagle River Light house is now surrounded by condominiums but still is a nice view point. |
