About the area

Close to the business district and downtown of Lapeer, is the Piety Hill Historic District. There are more than 29 historic buildings and the best thing is each one has its own unique architecture. From Greek revival to Roman architecture you find everything here. They were all built in the 18th century and the courthouse is the oldest building of all. Old is gold you know. However when it is old houses and buildings a ghost town close by is a great probability.
