You can expect to spend one whole day there including dinner because there are so many exquisite eateries and entertainment there. There are several places like the island including Detroit downtown. The Detroit City Court is also On Madison towards Downtown. Unless you have a Speeding Ticket you do not land up there. One of the main highways if Interstate 75 which passes close to the River Area.
