About the area

The first full brick house built in 1840 is called The Buck-Wardwell House on Jefferson Street. However even today all the houses built follow a grid pattern and it is a lay out rule there. The city seems very organized and structured. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the peace in neighborhoods. Several parks and buildings were actually built before World War II and there are many historic places to explore.
