Beltrami County Court is one of the district courts in the ninth Judicial circuit of Minnesota. The major roads in Beltram county are US Hways. 2 and 71 and SR’s 1, 72, 89 and 197.

About the area

Bemidji is a city split in two with the halves joined by a spit of land between two massive lakes; Lake Bemidji and Lake Irving. Now there's one for you; for which Irving was the lake named. The city’s name is taken from an Ojibwe term which means "lake with cross waters". The mighty Mississippi crosses Lake Bemidji and the spit of land and then Lake Irving. Bemidji is a rather large city having a little over 12,000 residents. The city, like many others in this part of the United States has its requisite Paul Bunyon and Babe the Blue Ox statues as well as a public state university, Bemidji State, which hasas Undergradute and Gradute programs.
