This court is known officially as the Cottonwood County District Court. If you want to whiz through Windom try US Hway 71 which runs North-South through the center of town. But don't whiz too fast or you mught end up in this court. SR's 60 and 62 71 in town. |

Windom lies just North of the border with Jackson county. The city Arena is wonderful place to enjoy various types of entertainment. Located on the Cottonwood County Fairgrounds; the arena is host to a variety of activities such as horse shows, auto shows, rodeos, hockey, ice skating and county fair events. The City of Windom operates 14 parks spread over more than 120 acres. The Des Moines River and Cottonwood Lake and a large olympic size outdoor heated swimming pool provide many oppotunities for recreational activities. Try some of these and you might fall in love with city. This city is unusual with its Fiber to the Premise Technology and its municipal Liquor store.
